For the Chennai showcase India Exprees capture Pooja Rajput's interview narrating the story behind the dainty prints of her brand, Chidiyaa.
“Ajrakh is an intricate fabric, and has ten steps from washing to drying to printing, and then repeating this all over again,” Pooja Rajput, claims her love-affair with Ajrak which is a prior pattern element in the designs of Chidiyaa. After traveled around the country extensively from weaver to weaver, factory to factory looking for that perfect block print designs she eventually falls for Ajrak imprints.
